Terrorists could plot attacks as public safety system under stress due to Covid-19 FORCE-TODAY NEWS Canadian law enforcement has circulated a US intelligence report that terrorists could “exploit” the stress placed on the public safety system in countering the Covid-19 crisis, to attack establishments like supermarkets and even hospitals. The report also pointed to chatter on social media from some terrorist elements pushing for targeting stores owned by the people of “Indian descent.” The alert was issued by the National Counterterrorism Centre in America, and formed part of a security advisory from the US rail industry.
